Do I get a credit for vacations?

Vacation credits are for residential collection service only. A vacation credit shall be given to customers who stop service for a period of two (2) consecutive weeks or longer. The request for a vacation credit must be received by our office at least forty-eight (48) hours in advance of the first pickup that is scheduled during the vacation period. Only two (2) vacation credits shall be issued to any service account within a single calendar year period.

A vacation credit shall be determined by dividing the monthly collection rate by the number of collections scheduled for that month, and then multiplying that number by the number of weeks of temporary service discontinuation being requested.
